Atlantic Financial Management is a trading style of Atlantic Finance (UK) Limited and is licensed under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (as updated in 2006) to provide commercial debt adjustment and commercial debt counselling services. Atlantic is a subsidiary of Pentagon (UK) Limited, one of UK's largest fee charging debt solution providers, which has offered Debt Adjustment and Full & Final negotiation services since 1996 and been operating Debt Management Plans (DMPs) since 2000, currently assisting over 30,000 people in financial difficulty and/or with PPI mis-selling claims.

Atlantic is a member of the Debt Managers Standards Association (DEMSA), whose code of practice is approved by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI). Atlantic is also a founding member of the Association of Professional Debt Solutions Intermediaries (APDSI). Atlantic acts as debt solution intermediary when referring clients to one of our independent panel of Insolvency Practitioners.

Atlantic debt advice is provided over the telephone and we are licensed to use the Common Financial Statement (licence no. CFS11622126), an industry recognised method of assessing and presenting your income and expenditure, and this forms a core part of our negotiations and proposals to your creditors if you appoint us. All our debt advisors are very well trained and are there to provide you with the debt help you require. We offer an all-round debt advice model and are able to offer a full range of debt solutions, including Debt Management Plans, Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), Protected Trust Deeds (Scotland only) and Bankruptcy Assistance.

The Pentagon Group has over 120 office based client support staff, whose primary focus is to ensure our debt solutions are professionally and personally delivered to our clients, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Bedford. We deal with over 3,700 creditors on a continuous basis to negotiate payment arrangements, distribute payments, deal with changes in client circumstances, exchange statements-of-affairs, deal with vulnerable clients, negotiate full & final settlements, ensure your credit report is being updated correctly and many other routine administration functions.

Customer satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is a priority and our advisers will endeavour to answer all your questions and make the step from deciding to deal with your debts to setting up a managed debt solution as painless as possible for you. All new clients are surveyed four months after we start working with them.

We undertake regular review calls and you have access to your own secure messaging service (MyAtlanticAccount). You have formal reviews throughout your relationship with Atlantic.
